
NatCORR (National Centre for Outdoor Risk and Readiness) in partnership with Risk Resolve is running a series of 1-day workshops across Australia in July.
The events will be held in the ACT, QLD, WA, VIC and NSW from 12 to 27 July for middle and senior management of outdoor or educational organisations who are likely to have to deal with a critical incident in the field.
MIDDLE MANAGEMENT:
Gain the essential skills and confidence to recognise, react and respond to a critical incident in the field. This practical, one-day course, aimed at staff working at coordinator and middle management levels in schools, organisations, not-for-profits, and sole proprietors will prepare you with the key skills and capabilities to confidently meet the inevitable, complex, and often highly demanding needs of those impacted. This workshop has a capacity of 30 people so make sure to secure your spot soon!

SENIOR MANAGEMENT
Participants will increase their capability to recognise and respond to the multiple external audiences that require attention following a critical incident.
Workshop is for someone likely to receive a call about a critical incident &/or who is expected to support the wider organisational response (e.g., family/support staff, internal/external communications, incident leadership, legal/regulator/ insurance communications)? E.g., Principal/Deputy Principal; WHS/HR Manager; Board Member; Senior Executive / Leadership Staff.
