Due to the COVID-19 coronavirus the Education Outdoors Conference 2020 has been cancelled. The organisers hope to be able to run the event in the first half of 2021.

Outdoors Victoria’s Education Outdoors 2020 Conference is for Victorian Outdoor Educators to come together to discuss current issues; partake of professional development, and share resources.

This year this annual event has the theme of Leading with Nature.

After the natural and climate changed induced disasters we’ve experienced in recent months, having a greater appreciation of our role and responsibility towards nature – and how we as outdoor educators – engage students on this – seems a timely theme indeed.

Topics for the 2 day event include:

• our relationship to nature, as individuals and as educators in the outdoor space
• how to advocate for positive environmental practices at home and in the workplace
• how to equip ourselves to confidently address the questions of those in our care
